Technology
TGP® Turbulent Galvanic Polarisation
Water is forced into a turbulent path across a structured electrode arrangement inside the stainless steel body. The galvanic effect changes how dissolved calcium and magnesium behave, so hardness minerals are less likely to bond to pipe walls and heating surfaces — with no chemicals and no external energy.
- Reduces limescale formation on pipework, valves, taps, shower heads and the water-heating coils of appliances.
- Operates without chemicals and without any external energy supply.
- Suitable for cold drinking water; the manufacturer references an NRL assessment for permanent contact with drinking water.
- Parts use materials suitable for drinking-water contact.
- Hydraulic properties tested for pressure drop, pressure resistance and strength (TSU, referenced by the manufacturer).
- Stainless steel 1.4301 body. The manufacturer's overview states a 2-year warranty and expected service of at least 10 years.
Results depend on water conditions, hardness, flow rate, installation quality and the product selected.
Where it helps
Pipework and valves
Reduces limescale formation along the distribution pipework and valves after the inlet.
Taps and shower heads
Helps keep outlets and nozzles clearer of hard scale deposits.
Water-heating coils
Reduces scale formation on the heating coils of connected appliances.
Homes and larger systems
Suitable residential and larger water systems, sized by flow rate and pipe diameter.

Is your water suitable?
- pH6.5 – 8.5
- Iron< 0.5 mg/L
- Hardness< 25 °dH (4.464 mmol/L)
- Electrical conductivity< 150 mS/m
- TDS< 950 ppm
- Salinity< 2000 mg/L
Installation warning: do not place RedLine close to devices producing strong electromagnetic fields, especially motors or pumps. Normal household electrical conductors and small appliances are not described as strong enough to affect function.
High chlorine content may reduce IPS electrode lifespan by about 50%. If your water differs from the recommended properties, ask us for an individual assessment.
Installation

Main-line installation
Fitted in-line on the main cold water inlet by a qualified plumber, with correct orientation and isolation valves.
Pipe compatibility
Copper, CPVC, PVC and PEX. Connection is female NPT/G × female NPT/G.
Limitations
RedLine reduces limescale formation. It does not soften water, does not remove dissolved minerals and is not a purifier.
