How IPS KalyxX Works
IPS is a flow-through device designed to help prevent the formation of solid sediments and corrosion in cold and hot-water appliances.
Inside the device are specially shaped electrodes made from two different electrically conductive materials. The patented electrode design uses TGP® — Turbulent Galvanic Polarization.
The turbine-shaped electrodes generate a swirling water flow, creating conditions that influence the structure and behaviour of minerals responsible for scale formation.

Installation Guidance
Installation notice
The IPS KalyxX device should not be installed in close proximity to equipment producing strong electromagnetic fields, particularly electric motors and pumps.
Normal electrical cables, including cables installed inside walls, and standard small electrical appliances do not generally produce an electromagnetic field strong enough to affect KalyxX operation.

Important
In water containing high chlorine levels, IPS technology lifespan may be reduced by approximately 50%, as chlorine can damage IPS electrodes.
